We travel towards Teesdale in County Durham to the beautiful market town of Barnard Castle, which has grown up around the walls of its Medieval Castle beside the River Tees. This afternoon we visit the pretty town of Northallerton on market day. High Street is unspoilt by modern times, with an abundance of specialist shops, cafes, tearooms and Department Stores offering good old fashioned customer service.
