We begin our day at the Victorian coastal town of Saltburn, with fantastic sea views from the upper promenade. Take a ride on the oldest remaining water balanced cliff lift in Britain down to the pier, lower promenade and beach, or enjoy a stroll through the woods to the formal Italian gardens. This afternoon we enjoy a scenic drive with spectacular sights from some of the highest points on England’s east coast to the Victoria Hotel in the small fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay. On arrival we take our seats in the beautiful Orangery overlooking the sea and enjoy an afternoon tea (assorted finger sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream and a pot of Yorkshire Tea or Coffee). Afterwards you have some free time before re-joining the coach for our return journey across the North York Moors.
