Celebrate Shrove Tuesday with us at the coastal town of Scarborough. See the Town Crier ring the bell at midday to start the pancake races in the town centre with teams of locals usually competing in fancy dress. The worthy winners will be taking home the legendry “Golden Frying Pan”! This afternoon the seafront is closed to traffic for Scarborough’s traditional skipping event - a fun day out for everyone!
